LEED Green Associate: An Introduction
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) was developed by the US Green Building Council. The LEED rating is the most distinguished green building certification. LEED Green Associate has gained recognition is many countries such as Dubai, Chile, Brazil, India, China and also in some building codes in the United States. The architects, engineers, contractors or interior designers are required to achieve at least one of the five LEED AP accreditations in order to demonstrate that they are familiar with the process of LEED certification. In order to achieve this, the person needs to have an understanding of the credits and the prerequisites needed to achieve the different levels of LEED certification. In order to apply for LEED Green Associate exam, it is necessary for the applicant to have been involved in a LEED certified project at least once or be involved in any field of work that is sustainable or attend an educational program which addresses principles of green buildings. The process of applying and studying to become a LEED AP is both time consuming and expensive. CleanEdison recognizes this and has also developed programs that would help you complete the process successfully and quickly. It has a course of study that helps you master all the ins and the outs of the exam, as a result of which you will be able to enjoy the uses of being a LEED AP. All the instructors are also LEED Accredited Professionals themselves. This course is more beneficial to contractors, builders, architects, engineers etc.
